Sight Reading Session!

Nebraska ASTA members got the school year off to a great start with a lively sight reading session at Sharon North Jones Studios, in Millard. Tom Miller, head of the string department at SNJ, graciously provided music from his upcoming repertoire selections, ranging from Grade 1 to 3.5, at OPS Buffet Middle School, along with a scoring sheet. From "International Tunes" to "Super Heroes" and "Creepers at the Castle” we all agreed that this is a very cool time to play strings!!! Critiques from participants helped us reflect on best choices for our own ensembles.
